Mothers Day Cards 2015

I used the strawberry box card from SVGcuts.

I embossed the strawberries with the mini heart embossing folder.  I sprayed the flowers with perfect pearls pearl mist and added a dot of yellow Viva Decor Pearl Pen to the center.  The leaves are inked with Distress ink in moss.

The Happy Mothers Day Stamp is from Simon Says Stamp and I added 2 more flowers.

I love how these fold flat for mailing.

Button Storage

I purchased a CTMH $35 grab bag from their April promotion and received this.

That large piece on the bottom is a Cubby.  What is a Cubby you ask?  It was first sold in their CTMH Advent Calendar kit and then sold by itself as seen below.

decided it would make the perfect and easy to use button storage.

The Cricut Artiste cartridge has the box that makes the perfect drawers for this.  Page 80 of the handbook. I used Cricut Design space and you can find the sized boxes Here.

I cut out the box at 2.5 inches and then sized the label to fit on the front.  I put buttons on the front to show a sampling of what is inside.

Here it is all finished.

Be sure to visit the Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th and 21st of every month for our design teams inspirational post in which by leaving a comment you will be entered into a drawing to win 3 FREE sets of your choice from the online store.

This weeks assignment was to use one of these two basket sets.

ROUND EASTER BASKET SET - TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE

I used the Round Easter Basket Set and made this cute gift basket for a Birthday gift.

I took the long handles and folded them over in half to make little loops on the basket.  I love that I was able to use the same pattern paper as the vending machine, so that everything matched perfectly.

I added some ribbon around the outside and it's perfect!

April Design Team Call

I decided to throw caution to the wind and apply for the April Tiddly Inks Design Team Call.

I inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in: Gathered Twigs, Mermaid Lagoon and Wild Honey.

Rose's Birthday Card

Now that Rose has received her Birthday card, I can post it on my blog (sometimes she stops by and I didn't want to spoil the surprise!!)

I used the Saturated Canary Sweet N Sassy stamp.  This image reminded me so much of Rose that I had to buy it just for her!!

Here is the image before she was added to a card.

Here she is made into a card. I die cut Sizzix triplet flowers from felt to add some dimension.
