Butterfly Kisses - March 22st Inspiration

SNEAK PEEK - Do you love clear stamps and Dies?  Well guess what?  Rubbernecker is going Clear and has matching Dies!  The clear stamps and dies are already available at the Rubbernecker booth at the Expos, but will be loaded on the site mid-March, so keep your eyes out! 



For this card I used the Butterfly clear stamps and matching dies.  I used Zig True Color Real Brush pens on watercolor paper.  I added a little glimmer over the top, so that the butterfly's glimmer.  I used a sentiment from the stamp set.

The pattern paper is from Gina K and the solid cardstock is Blue Lagoon from Fun Stampers Journey.  The butterfly charm is from my stash.

Simon Seahorse

Welcome to a new release from Simply B Stamps.   These are from the Alpha Betty Release


I used Simon Seahorse:


I colored Simon with my Copics:
Seahorse: BV17, BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01 and BG000
Belly: BV17, BV13 and BV11 with BG01

I used paper and twine from Fun Stampers Journey and a seahorse charm.  Die cut starfish and sequin to finish off the card.

Easter Bunny - March 21st Inspiration

This week we could use any of the Easter sets found here.  I chose to use Easter Overlays and Shaker Card.  For the sentiment I used the Easter Bunny Shaped Card 2.  



I used Jillibean Soup pattern paper and FSJ solid cardstock in bubble gum and FSJ sequins and twine.  The Easter Wishes sentiment is foiled in pink foil to finish off the card.

I used the Doggie, hydrant, bone and dog house stamps and dies to make this card.  

I added some twine, a bone charm and some banners to finish off the look.

Jimmy Jack-O-Lantern

Welcome to a new release from Simply B Stamps.   These are from the Alpha Betty Release


I used Jimmy Jack-O-Lantern:



I colored it with my Copics:
Pumpkin: YR18, YR16, YR14 and YR12 
Eyes:  E15, Y17 and Y15
Stem: E29, E25 and E21
Mouse: W5, W3 and W1

Some pattern paper and black and orange sparkle washi tape finish of the front. I die cut the La La Land crafts spooky tree and covered it with glimmer.  Spider web die out of vellum.  Nuvo drops in English Mustard, Repened Pumpkin and Black.

I used watercolor on the stamp in 3 different pinks to give it the variegated effect and then stamped the stems and centers in black.

Green:  G99, G94, G21 and YG03

Brown: E29, E25 and E23
Blue: BG34, BG32 and BG11


I added a die-cut border and some Fun Stampers Journey Cocoa powder ribbon.

Now on to this weeks inspiration!   


This week we used the Mason Jar Shaped Card orw we could have used the Jar shaped Cards set found here.   



I used the hearts from the set and inked them and layered them in the bottom of the jar.  I also printed the Sending Hugs from the set and placed it along the center of the label from the set.
